Pick 'n Pay
Refused to refund me for a damaged Phillips globe

Shops, Products, Services

I went to a pick 'n pay at protea glen mall to buy light bulbs. I bought two Phillips light bulbs and went home and tried to fit them only to find that one does not work and the other one does work. I took both back to the store with the intention of returning the damaged one. I approached the cashier who served me first time and explained to her the situation, she then calls another lady who then calls another lady called Thandekile. Thandekile never wanted to listen to my explanation and all she wanted to tell me was that no return on light bulbs because who knows if I went home and changed the good one with the damaged one. Mind you all this happened within 1 hour. First of all I take offence in being called a. Second, without fitting the bulb how was I to know that the other bulb is damaged? This bulbs cost a lot of money - one bulb cost R54.99 each, which means I have just given pick 'n pay R54.99 for nothing.
