Failed to keep appointments, wont answer calls

Mohammed was supposed to meet me to quote for granite urgently, as we were doing renovations on a very tight deadline. He failed to do so even though I waited for him at the flat for 2 days. He wouldn't answer any of my calls or smses, and when I finally got hold of him he hung up on me. I dont understand how companies like this can do business, and I will no longer stand for bad customer service.
