Bad product information

I repaired a patio and swimming pool deck for a customer of mine. Myself and 2 labourers sanded the 2 decks down and prepared to seal all nail holes. I browsed for a decent product to use for that and having used alcolin wood filler for many years, the container never stated for interior use only. I purchased a few bottles and proceded to fill all holes with the alcolin wood filler after the sanding process. The following day we proceded to apply the 1st coat of Rystix waterbased varnish. After completing 3 coats on both decks, the following day we had a few days of rainy weather. When the rain had cleared I noticed that most of the filled holes were cracking and blistering. I contacted Alcolins tollfree no and the lady Natalie immediately knew what I was refering to, so obviously I am not the only person and she also aware of the incorrect bottle labeling.
After back and forth regarding the situation, I have now lost profit on the job, in fact now in a deficite due to product failure. She said she would speak to management regarding reimbursement, later phoned to say they refuse to financially reimburse, which I find pathetic. I doubt I will be using their products ever again
