Poor quality workmanship and damages to property

Royal Gates & Burglar Proofing cc agreed to manufacture, paint and install gates and it's frames at my home in Sep 2012. Meranti wood panels (R3000.00) to make up the gates was supplied by me. Royal Gates sub-contracted the work to an individual to fit /assemble the wood panels to the steel frames. The individual damaged the wood panels and steel frames by drilling holes in the wrong places across the steel frame and across the wood panels ie. Approx 2 incorrect holes were drilled on left and right hand sides on both sides of the steel frame and for each panel accross 10 wood panels per gate, for 2 gates). When the screws were threaded through the frame, it did not thread into the wood panels ie. some screws did not even go into the wood panel resulting in only 1 per panel. Some screws went though the edge of the panel and split the wood. A complaint was lodged with the owner Piet Naude to rectify this or 're-imburse me for damaged wood panels and refund deposit'. To date (07 Aug 2013), the deposit has not been refunded and no re-imbursement received. After repeated requests, Piet became very arrogant and ignorant and did not respect my rights as a Customer.
