Refund due

I had an account with Builders Warehouse RCS group which I settled end of April 2013. There was an over payment of R243.00 which they neglected to tell me and just closed the account. When I raised the query to be refunded Shamiema confirmed the over payment and noted that I should send proof of the over payment an ID copy and a bank statement. I find this unacceptable as they have my ID copy as to when I opened the account, in my request I provided my banking details and then they wanted proof of the payment even though she confirmed receipt of these monies. Its strange how quick they are to contact one when you short pay or threaten their customers that they will be handed over but when they have your money they have all kind of stories for not refunding.

I would advice everyone not to ever open an account with Builders warehouse and if they do to just pay the exact amount as you won't get your monies back.
