Builders warehouse selling unusable goods

Hi brought a garden master poison bottle about 3 months ago.
When my gardener wanted to use it we noticed there isnt a spray nozzlle on the bottle.

I went back to builders to find out if I can buy a new nozzle as I no longer have the receipt.
I was told that you cannot buy spares for the product (also after finding out that garden master is builders warehouse's brand make).
How can builders warehouse sell a product that is not usable (this is not a common mistake as I saw the exact same sale item on the floor with the same problem.

The only help I could get was the manager saying that I have to buy a new one if I don't have the receipt.
Apparently I can order or request spares from any other make other than the builders warehouse in house product.
