Unprofessional and Incompetent

In December 2012 we received a quotation from Sun Boreholes to raise our borehole tank onto our pedestal. Steve assured up that he could complete the work and we paid a deposit of R1800.00.

Steve arrived a few days later to do the job, and was completely unprepared. He did not have the equipment required to do the job that he had quoted for, and ended up dropping our 5000lt tank and irreparably damaging it.

He put in a temporary 2000lt tank and promised to replace our 5000lt tank in January when the manufacturers opened.

In January we heard nothing from him. We contacted him towards the end of January to be told the manufacturers only opened on 22 January 2013. We spent the next month and a half chasing him to replace our tank. Eventually, on 8 March 2013, he arrived and installed a 5000lt tank on the ground next to the pedestal. He promised to refund our deposit, as clearly we were no better off than before we paid him.

Every time we phoned about the refund he made up some story. To date we have not received our refund, almost 5 months since he first proved how useless Sun Boreholes is.
