I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against HiFi Corporation Carnival Mall regarding the handling of my laptop repair, which is still under warranty. After submitting the device for assessment, I have experienced ongoing delays, lack of communication, and unclear feedback suggesting the issue may be classified as customer liability, which I strongly dispute as the laptop was used under normal conditions. Despite following up and even contacting the manufacturer directly, who confirmed the matter is under review, the store has failed to provide any meaningful updates or a clear resolution. This situation is unacceptable, especially as the laptop is essential for my son’s studies, and the delay is negatively affecting his academic progress. I am requesting urgent intervention to ensure the warranty is honoured, the repair status is clearly communicated, and a reasonable resolution timeline is provided, failing which I will escalate the matter further through the relevant consumer protection authorities.
