I called MWEB technical support and held on for 1 hour and 58 minutes, only to be cut off without ever speaking to anyone. No callback, nothing.
Out of frustration, I called back and selected the SALES option instead. My call was answered in under a minute. That tells me everything I need to know about where MWEB's priorities lie — new sales get answered instantly, while existing paying customers are left to wait for hours.
I explained my situation to the sales agent (I believe his name was Jody, though it wasn't clear). Instead of helping or escalating, he cut me off mid-sentence and transferred me straight back into the same support queue. I then held for another 10 minutes with no answer before giving up.
In total: over 2 hours of my time, one dropped call, one dismissive agent, and my original technical issue still completely unresolved.
What I want from MWEB:
1. Someone to contact me directly to resolve my technical issue — not another queue.
2. An explanation of why support wait times are this long while sales calls are answered immediately.
I'm happy to provide the dates and times of my calls so the recordings can be reviewed.
