Poor quality products

I bought a waterproof camera (c150w) in September. I was all exited cause I was going to have the change to take awesome pictures on my holiday in Zanzibar but the camera only lasted 2 days, so not only couldn't I take pictures in the water I couldn't take any pictures at all!! Somehow water got into the camera??? I send an e-mail to hp on the 27th of December and still haven't had a response from them till now??? how long am i suppose to wait for a response??? I'm really disappointed in HP!!!
