Unreliable delivery dates and half load deliveries

Hi

We were considering between two furniture removal companies, after we spoke to Jessica she confirmed that they will deliver on the date as requested. After payment has been done she sent an email with a revised date of delivery which we didn't check as we were busy packing. On collection the driver even confirmed that they will be leaving that week end.
We expected delivery to take place on the Monday and has taken leave accordingly phoned and left messages for Jessica ..she never returned our messages after finally getting hold of her she said that she did send an email with the date of delivery but she would escalate this and let us know. She only sent the driver name and number, so now 5 days after the promised date at 21:30 and the truck finally arrived, they were promising to get to us since Thursday when they were in PE and then Hermanus all of sudden they bypassed Strand to deliver Houtbay and Montague Gardens. putting us last on the list and delivering HALF OF OUR FURNITURE. This was and still is a terrible experience! People going back on their word and blaming us now for not reading emails. For R18 000 I expected at least all my furniture on time and in good condition.
