I called on Monday 22 April to book my Corolla 140i for its 120 000km service. I told the lady that the brakes and clutch need to be checked. She booked my car in for Wed 24 April.

I went there at 06h45 and was 3rd in line. They booked me in and I told the service consultant to check my brakes and clutch.

When I collected my vehicle at just before 5pm they told me that the technician picked up a faulty cluth on the test drive. So I told the service consultant that I gave a specific instruction to check the clutch first thing when I drove in.

To add insult to injury I went to Hillcrest Toyota and the same job will cost me 40% LESS and there is no 2 day waiting for parts.

McCarthy Pinetown are and they do not care. Their sign says something like "we care about our customers feedback" Well I say that is an absolute as they don't even listen to their customers reporting problems with their vehicles never mind anything else.

I think they should be investigated and put out of business!!
