In October 2012 we bought a D4D Toyota from BB Auto. Included with the transaction was a 2 year mechanical warranty. Since then I have been requesting the policy document from BB Auto to read the terms and conditions.
I received a summary of benefits in February. At that stage I still had no idea what service intervals the policy demanded. After many calls to the salesperson I was told that the warranty expired because I missed a service. The advise that was given to me by BB Auto was "you know how it works, you'll find a guy willing to give you a stamp in your service book".
On delivery of the Toyota (in October 2012), we ordered a Ford Ranger. We offered our BMW 320d as trade-in and the Salesperson (Willie Blanche) GUARANTEED the transaction will be done.
We confirmed the transaction every month. On April 18th 2013 we were told the Ranger would be delivered that weekend.
Friday the 19th we were told the deal will not be done due to the value of the BMW. After 6 moths of negotiations the BB Group refused to take responsibility for the incompetence of their Sales department.
