Supreme Auto
Dishonest and poor service

Cars & Transport

We paid R100000 for the Mazda R2000 for Licence and Registration R4300 for a 2 year mechanical warranty in September 2011. The very next day the vehicle was taken to a Mazda dealership who then told us that the shocks, V belt and brakes had to be changed even though we were told it had passed COR. The dealership refused to refund us the R6500 that was spent on this. In April 2012 the Mazda needed to have the gear box changed which should have been be covered by the mechanical warranty we paid Supreme Auto for. The insurance company then confirmed that Supreme Auto never paid them for the mechanical warranty so were not covered as the policy did not exist. We then had to pay the full cost (R10000) in cash. Darryl the owner has not even called me to explain or apologise. He did refund the R4300 that we paid him for the policy but we had incurred a total cost of R10000 since the policy did not exist and this is the dealership fault as these repairs would have been have been covered by the mechanical warranty which we thought was in place and of course we do not have a 2 year mechanical warranty. I expect a refund for my costs!
