VW Assist - NO ASSIST

I bought a brand new Scirocco R and on my way back from KZN the vehicle just stopped, lost power to the entire vehicle. I called VW Assist, it took them over 3 hours to get to us and we were just outside Ladysmith. Had to sit on the side of the road, in the baking sun because it is not safe to sit in your vehicle while parked in the emergency lane. I was told the problem was a fuse, can you believe a single little fuse brings the entire vehicle to a halt.

VW Assist put us up in a B&B and told me they would refund me, I have emailed them at least 10 times over the last month but they have an excuse every time. If they have changed their minds and now longer want to pay then say so but why keep me on a string.

THERE IS NOTHING "ASSIST" about VW Assist, maybe should be VW Ignore!!
