Volkswagen
VW Dealer unwilling to replace faulty vehicle

Cars & Transport

On 14 dec 12 I bought a brand new Amarok for VW, on taking the vehicle 10 kms down the road vehicle stalled and lost all power. Taken back to VW given a loan vehicle.just over two months now VW can't repair my vehicle. Got legal mediator involved in Jan 13, but VW dealer and VW South Africa not willing to replace the same colour-Mendosa brown. Instead last week we told by VW South Africa I must accept other colour and they cannot overide any decision by the Dealer. My frustation is I traded in my Isuzu KB 300, which i got R166500.00 and used towards the deposit, am paying insurance, tracker and istalments on a vehicle i dont have.
I even spoke to the dealer principal who has a vehicle of same colour but 4x4 and not 4x2 which i ordered. He stays VW SA wont assit him and he would look at deal for me, which i'm still waiting for. What concerns me is that the fault and colour choice is not mine. The dealer together with VW SA should forgo some profit and use profits made the Isuzu KB 300 (which was sold) to accommodate a new deal for me. Intsead me and my legal mediator are sent from pillar to post, and given ultimatums to choose a vehicle colour which I dont desire at all. Please can you assist
