Double payment for damages

Further to my complaint last week about why my account was debited with R925 and R1675. There was a scratch on the bumper which was quoted to be repaired R1250. My question is why was my account debited with R2600? For damages of R1250. I have since managed to return the R925 debit and now as far as i am concerned Avis owes me R425 and i am really hoping that these funds be paid back to me just as QUICKLY as my account was debited.
