Threatening me and no feedback!

Well lets start this morning I received a call from ariva accounts to inform me of the debit order that didn't go through. I explained to the lady for the second time what the situation is and as soon as I have the money before the next debit order is due I will pay them, she blatantly told me I must pay or the car will be repossessed and dropped the line. I phoned back and spoke to the head of the accounts department to which I also explained my situation and he told me he will take a look at the account and call me back. Still no call from him either, its not that I don't pay them at all this is circumstances beyond my control and im in contact with ariva about whats going on, for them to threaten me with repossessing the car is completely unacceptable!
