Promises made, not kept

I was given a promise on the phone that if I deliver my vehicle to them on Monday I will get my vehicle back on Friday.

I kept my promise and delivered the vehicle to them within an hour of the phone call at about 15:00 on Monday.

When I then called Friday lunch time to enquire if I could come and get my car back I was treated in the typical "but who promised you that" manner and needless to say I did not receive my car on time.

Very little respect shown for the client.
