Spares shortage in the SA for Chev Optra

A part was ordered by MC Motors Pretoria for a Chevrolette Optra on 13 February 2013. The part not much bigger than a bulldog clip and fixes the head light to the body of the car or so I am told, is no where to be found in South Africa. After communicating my frustration to the Port Elizabeth spares office it was explained to me that i should make a call the the toll free care centre. No eta was given. No offer of any assistance was given. Keep in mind this is a 2011 vehicle with only 33000km on it. It is now 6 March 2013. What kind of service is this?? and is it worth buying GM again? you be the judge.
