Key Moves
Trashed furniture, plants, pots and boxes. Late

I entrusted "Key Moves" with the transportation and safe delivery of my inherited goods from Pretoria to Cape Town. En route to Cape Town I was informed that the truck had broken down and that there would be a delay. Adjusted arrangements were made with their driver to meet at 8am in Cape Town. He turned up 1.5 hours late. Then, on opening the truck, we noticed that our boxes were in very poor condition. Square boxes arrived almost round. Clearly marked fragile boxes were packed underneath other heavy boxes. Plants were also stacked underneath boxes and furniture. Damages included 20 year old stag horn badly damaged, antique dressing table leg broken off, large ceramic pot smashed etc. Damages come to between R 3000 (cheapest quotes) - R 6000 (Most expensive Quotes). They charged me R900 for insurance and are only prepared to pay out R 1000. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone...
