Cars & Transport

We went to get petrol on Saturday around 16:45 on our way to an important meeting starting at 5, we only realized our tank was empty on our way and we forgot our wallets at home. We then searched the car for small change and managed to get R20. At the garage my husband specifically asked the attendant for R20 petrol, then the attendant gave us R200's He then called the Manager Sandra or Susan. She then with a bad attitude told my husband that it was the attendants word against ours and that he must give his phone to her to keep until we come and pay the bill. My husband then told her that me his wife was also in the car and we both confirmed that we only asked for R20 she then wanted to strain the petrol out of our car, we could wait because we were already late for our appointment, We asked her if we could leave our Id's or licences or a case full of CD's that was worth much more that R200 but she insisted on us leaving our phone, my husband was on service during the weekend an couldn't leave his phone, I also think it is ridiculous for her to demand our phones _ she just had a very bad attitude. I feel they were the ones in the wrong and they should have been more accommodating
