Engine Staff - fraudigently aquired my details

I was receiving multiple calls from a number, with no messages. I eventually was able to answer one on the many calls to my surprise I found out that it was the petrol attendant who had obtained my number as he made a mistake on the credit card transaction when he processed the card. He was going to held liable for the 700 odd bucks that he incorrectly loaded. He some how through the Metro Cops was able to obtain my contact details. This is shocking how do the management team allow this!
