Petrol attendant wanted to swipe my card twice and when I complain about it, he (David) replied by "? never new white people are so stupid" and because I drive a car with the licence plate from Limpopo, I got another comment "you people from Limpopo". furthermore when I went inside to pay because he cant swipe my card for some reason on the portable swipe machine, he told the cashier to help the other attendants that came after me first to make me wait. after payment was done finally the attendant went to other customers next to me and told them I was a, which is not the case at all. This is utterly unacceptable and I will also go public with this at the local Pretoria news papers. If this is the way Engen does hiring of staff, then their standards have dropped enormously and I will rather drive 3 km further and use another petrol station.
