Car returned with bumped and scratched bumpe

I took my car into VW to get my wheel bearings replaced on 1Dec 2013, when the car came back I could see it bumped something on the front the scratch is an big as the headlight you can see the scratch and the paint residue on my bumper below the left headlight u can see it is scraped off, so I contact Bianca from VW informing them of what I discovered and was told to come see Andre Grobler (Service Manager) so I take the car in and u won't believe how rude he was and telling me that there is no place in their premises where the car could've gotten the scratches. I then guaranteed them the scratches won't there when I brought the car in. He said they will not take responsibility because paint on my bumper was peeling so they say there is existing damage, so its my word against them. What me off is that he said that and just walked off. So Bianca says she just works there and she can't make decisions after the service manager has spoken. So my concern is it means one can't have peace of mind when taking your car in seeing that they don't look after and account for their stuff ups. Given bad attitude when complaining about being wronged. customer service I must say
