I had problems with my breaking shortly after I had my car serviced for its 75 000 kilometer service. My car was taken in and i was told that the part of my car that needed to be replaced did not have a part number and that it had to be ordered from overseas. This would take 21 working days. The next day I was informed that they would make a plan and that I would be able to collect my car the following morning. When my car was collected, I was told that they had taken another part from another used car and put it in my car. I am not aware how old that part is and I find that this type of service is not acceptable. i was not asked if they could put in another used car's part in my car, and I feel that the part should have rather been replaced with a new part.
