Faulty part

Cars & Transport

I purchased a clock spring for my Renault that was fitted by French Car Connection in Strand (the ONLY people that work on our car)
Tuesday part was fitted. The new part that was fitted is faulty and causes the unit to go into mode test.

After numerous phone calls the matter has still not been revolved.
All Simon can do is tell me that the car needs to go into a Renault dealer so the part can be tested and a warranty part claim has to be done. I will then be liable for the labour that the dealership charges.
NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I have just paid for the part as well as labour to have it fitted!
It's also not like the part was cheap!

The answer a consumer/clients wants to hear is: sorry about the inconvenience we will remove and replace the faulty part at our expense for you!
