Pricing on part beyond ridiculous!

Was looking for a replacement starter relay for my Hilux D/C.
The price? R 604!!!
Went down the road and got the "pirate" relay for... wait for it... R 79. Really Toyota, please explain to all of us how on earth you justify your price considering it is a simple little copper coil with four contacts enclosed in a plastic box no larger than a R 2 coin?
