Toyota verso 2009-2lt diesel clutch

Hi to you all. My wife bought a 2009 demo Verso, the 2lt diesel during 2010. I recently suspected that the clutch is faulty and asked the Toyota dealer at Cape Gate to check it out as it was booked for a service. They informed me that the clutch must be replaced as a seal is leaking on the gearbox and that the oil spills on the clutch. Price R13500. This car has only 41000km on the clock!!! The manufacturers warranty expired December 2012 so unfortunately we must pay ourselves. I complained at Toyota customer services and got an email back stating in short-TOUGH LUCK. WOW!!! Their attitude stinks. This is actually still a brand new car but needs a clutch replacement. So, to you all, think twice before buying a new Toyota. This can happen to you too. Nothing wrong however with the older Toyota models, had a couple of them.
