Toyota
Toyota Hilux not suitable for Africa

Cars & Transport

I bought my brand new Toyota Legend 40 Hilux 3 years ago and with 67 000km on the clock, I had to replace the diesel filter 3 times. The first time at 30 000km (Pretoria), second time at 65 000km (Upington) and now again at 67 000km (Stellenbosch). Each time at the cost of - R1000.
When I enquired the manager at Toyota Upington about my problem, he said that I should use 50ppm diesel and rather not use my Hilux for farming. Seeing that I am a farmer this is impossible.

Now I would like to know what is the use of the Hilux if I cannot farm or travel Africa (no 50ppm diesel) with it?
