The lack of service and huge bill we had after a come-back with repairs done on the aircon of our Ford Focus at Fury Ford William Nicol was absolutely shocking! Ford sent the Ford Focus to their preferred vendor to have the aircon fixed as previously we wanted to re-gas it and Ford said it was leaking. We received a bill of around R1800, with no details as to what was done to the aircon. Three weeks later the aircon just stopped working and the car started overheating. We took the car back and explained the situation to Ford. We received a quote for around R12 000, this was to replace the radiator, sensor, and of course to re-gas the aircon. We refused to pay for the re-gassing seeing that it had just been re-gassed during the repairs. After Ford had the car for 6 days we were told that it has to go back to the aircon place. A request for a courtesy car seeing that the aircon problem is a come-back was just ignored. We are so upset as we took the car back to Ford because we knew if anyone else worked on the car we could lose our warranty on the aircon work. We could have done this cheaper somewhere else, but instead we trusted Ford. 10 days without a car, no service and huge bill!
