I hired a car on 25 Oct & returned it on 28 Oct with a minor accidednt. R 6000 was reserved from my FNB account as insurance access, I tried to find out how long it will take to assess the vehicle as my money was reserved and no one in the company could give me that info as neither the Randburg branch nor the headoffice could provide that info. 4 weeks later on 18 Nov I received a call from the collections department saying that I need to pay them what was outstanding, to my suprise Kashmir from the claims department nor karabo the branch manager called me as they had promised that they will call me once the assessment is completed and that they will also send me a copy of the claim. I then called Karabo who promissed to return my call but didnt for the third time since dealing with her, I then drove to their Randburg office but couldnt talk to her as she was in a meeting, she then called me back with an attitude and eventually sent me a copy of my invoice, i asked her that i will need a breakdown of the assessment as the amount seems too big for the damaged caused, she promissed to send by 19 Nov but never did. i dont think its fair to pay for something i dont undestand
