My insurance provider hired a car for me from tempest car hire as my vehicle is currently being repaired. On the third day (yesterday) of using this hired vehicle, I realised that it wasn't starting - battery flat. I called tempest park station and they sent a gentleman to jump start the vehicle. This morning, I again couldn't start the vehicle. As it was early, I couldn't get hold of a branch but got through to the call centre where the agent managed to get hold of someone at the randburg branch. I was told that a team had been dispatched to assist me.By 8 am no one had come through and as I had an important meeting to attend at 9 am I decided to take a taxi. I then got a call around 8:45 am from the randburg branch informing me that technical team was on its way to my house. I informed the branch that I had already left the house but that the technical team could still go through as there was someone at the house. The branch then requested we meet at the house at 2 pm. 2 pm has passed and still no one has come through. I spoke to the randburg branch manager who informed me that I had not spoken to her and she is not in the office. Poor customer service this.
