Well done, GWM SA. You have lost a long time loyal customer. I find it disgusting that 1) you sell a product that is inherently a good product, and then deface it with bad service, poor customer relations, and poor parts availability. 2) Can't even back your own marque with a factory warranty, has to be carried by an SA insurance company. 3) When is queried, we are told "We don't have control over the dealerships, they are privately owned, take it up with them". 4) Maintenance schedules are not adhered to ie. my diff, gearbox and transfer case oils were not changed as prescribed. 5) Dealers don't want to trade in their own products, as "They are difficult to sell second hand". 6) If you dare to lodge a warranty claim, they try to discourage you by telling you that "You know you bought a cheap vehicle". Then they try discourage you further by taking forever to process a warranty claim. But first they make you feel as if you are mistaken and imagining things. 7) Dealerships do not have the correct diagnostics tools, as apparently, there is no tool from GWM itself, they have to rely on a Launch X431 or similar, which is prohibitively expensive, and doesn't allow access to all modules.
