Rip Off wanted to Charge R5000 for a R150 jo

I went to Car Service City for a quote to fix my car, which was mis-firing. I left it there for them to do an inspection. They phoned me 2 hours later and said they have to replace the Coil Pack and HD Leads, which would cost around R5000. I then phoned the e-car service centre in Marlboro drive, they said it shouldn't cost more than R2500 - R3000 to fix, but I must bring my car just to make sure that it's not a problem with the HD leads first. I went back to Car Service City to collect my car to take it for a second quote and they wouldn't give me my car back without paying a R456.00 quote fee, which I eventually paid and took it to e-car service centre, and long story short, e-care service centre replaced the 4th HD lead at no cost to me and the car runs perfectly... I went back to Car Service City to get a refund of the money they charged me for the quote and they refused to pay it back. They are a dishonest, lying, cheating service company... They give the motor industry a bad name. They don't deserve to be in business... IT's criminal the way that they carry on... I will make this public knowledge.
