On 1st November I called Sithembiso Mhize from Impact Recycling to advise a booking for pick up bags of paper. No one from the office communicated to give a date. On 8th November I called in the mprning to to inform about the problem. Every time I called I was informed that the pick up truck will be picking from Design School on the 8th.By lunch time the bags were completely filled and an extra big box was filled with paper. I called again to inform them the urgency of the bags were health hazard and also informed them that we would like to cancel their services. Inspite of me informing them that Design School will be closing at 16.00, they did not pitch up to remove the paper bags. I called again at 15.30 because was getting rather concerned because the school was going to close. at that time was informed that the truck is on its way to Design School. waited until 15.45 and called and no one answered the phone. I only left the office at 16h10 and still no one came and picked up the bags from the Design School. This goes to show that the staff at Impact Recycling had no consideration of the occupation health and safety regulations due to their negligence.
