Delta Motors
Incompetence

Cars & Transport

I had my Isuzu serviced at Delta Humansdorp in September 2013. I have asked more than once during past services that the fan belts be replaced, to which their mechanics kept informing me that nothing was wrong with it. They however on the most recent service informed me that the CV-shafts needed to be replaced at a ridiculous R17800. I took the bakkie for a second opinion and was informed that the fan belts were completely *#&$ed and that nothing was wrong with the CV-shafts. In fact all the bearings on the front wheels needed replacing and the CV-joints needed greasing as well as they did not put in a washer on the sump-plug, it was dripping. The CV joint on the drive shaft were totally seized. In a previous service at Delta Humansdorp, I asked them to check all the diffs oils as well as engine and gearbox oils after a deep water crossing on a 4X4 excursion and was told everything was fine. Both diffs oils were drained by a well experienced mechanic and found that it was full of water. These are suppose to be the experts in the field on my vehicle, they clearly overcharge and undeliver in service and clearly lack in knowledge. I'm disappointed and have no faith in Delta.
