In Aug 2013, I bought a 2012 Polo from McCarthy VW (Silver Oaks). When I took delivery of the car, I realised that this was not the car that I agreed upon buying. The mistake that I made was to accept the salesman's explanation, because after a few days I realised that there were a number of defaults on the car. They managed to sort out most of defaults, but after I had to take the car back 4 times, there are still a lot of rattles and squeaky noises in the car, as well as a knocking noise coming from the front wheels. I phoned them on 10 Oct. After following this up on 14 Oct, I only got feedback on 21 Oct and we agreed that they will replace my car with a similar model. I had to follow this up on 28 Oct on when I can expect my car to be replaced. There was no reply. Only after I've informed them that I've reported them to VW SA and McCarthy VW, did they came back to me on 30 Oct and promised that it would be sorted out by 1 Nov. Needles to say, that nothing has happened. Not even VW or McCarthy to whom I've reported this, has reacted up to now! All I want is to get this sorted out or even better, I want my money back. This is the worst service I've ever encountered!!
