I took a mini lease about 5 months ago. Went through all the necessary details with the consultant before I signed the agreement. A month later everything changed. The biggest let down was when Avis debitted 14900 out of my account due to incorrect information from their consultant, when I asked for the transaction be cancelled I was told that It can not be reversed because they didn't trust that they will have money in my account to deduct 4400 that was owed to them. Few weeks ago I requested spare key, everything went well, I returned the key to the O.R Tambo office and was told that everything was OK. Days later I got a call from someone telling me that I have not returned the key and they will be coming to take the car, my contract has been cancelled cos I didn't bring the key. I explained that I did return the keys and I was promised feedback which I never received. I called the customer service center and they confirmed that my contract was on hold and I needed to bring their car. I did so on the 30th Sep. Today I'm being told I have been handed over to the SID and they coming to fetch the car. Which car? All I want to know what I owe you and will not pay for any extras.
