Atrocious attitude and poor Service

After a terrible experience with Avis, I swore never to make use of them ever again. Unfortunately I mistakenly booked them again- arrived in Durban late night and was in a rush to get to a Dinner meeting with an important client. I went into Avis and three tellers were at the counter with two busy with clients. The third was chatting to a staff member from the Airport who was lounged over the counter. No attempt to assist me. I was finally served by a sour attendant who persistently sniffed. At first there was no car- asked me to wait. I protested, and they found a vehicle. Then she openly and publicly stated for the whole shop to hear that I was a credit risk. This was again publicly repeated by an equally sour Manager Jeffrey who spent ages on the telephone despite me telling them I was late. After humiliating me in front of clients, wasting my time and making me late for my meeting, they quietly came back and stated that the report noted that I was "Paid in Full". It was only after I specifically noted that no attempt was made to apologise that I got a half hearted apology. Jeffrey was rude and Arrogant while he thought I was a credit risk.
