I am a proud owner of a BMW for 7 years now.
However, today I took delivery of my pre-owned diesel X5 at SMG Cape Town. When unveiling the vehicle I quite surprised that it was not even valet. Upon further inspection, I realised that minor repairs (as promised) never took place. What a shocker... BMW SMG Cape Town of all dealers? I was so disappointed... really I was. The BMW brand/name... you are doing an injustice to the BMW brand team.
The sales person standing in for the sales person I dealt with apologised. SMG's manager also apologised. To cut a long story short. I never took delivery of the vehicle and intend not to after what has happened. I was quite emotional as I had my family with me too (shaking head).
I don't expect any favours or any reply.
However expect a true and sincere apology.
On the other hand, I don't know but I won't be going back there. What a pitty...
