Allegations, that I damged their car on return

On 19 May 2012 I hired a car with Avis at the Airport branch in Durban. We agreed about the price per day which was around R 500 and that, I shall return the car in 2 days to another Branch (down town) in Durban which was, 21 Monday of May 2012. I was handed with the keys over the counter and told the bay number where the car was packed and then departed. I returned the car as per agreement on 21 May 2012. To my surprise as I expected some change from my deposit, I was told about Vat, which I was not informed about before taking the car and a fee of R 100 for returning the car to another Branch and also about damages that were on the rear bumper of the car. I explained that I do not know anything about damages as there was no one at the airport who walked with me to the vehicle to do checking of which I did not know we had to check it. One lady who refused to tell her name called 4 days later and insisted that I must pay for those damages because I signed. A bad treatment I received till to date make me feel like walking into that office and open fire. I now receive calls every day to make a payment for what I did not do
