Streetwise Warranties
Rip off!!!

I have a warranty policy with the above company for which I pay R245.00 a month as my vehicle is out of the factory warranty. On Sunday 04th August my vehicle broke down and I had to have it towed. On the Monday it was discovered that the vehicles fuel pump had packed up and a new one was fitted. The tow in and repair bill was R8500 and was paid up front. I phoned the above company and was assured by Sandra that I would be refunded pending the submission of the car service history, quotes and a statement as to what happened. She assured me that both the tow in and repairs to teh "fuel System" were covered by the warranty.
To cut a long story short, and after much fighting over payments promised which were not made, an amount of R1000 has been paid to my bank account. This is disgusting and a rip off and other consumers must be made aware of this. No small wonder they do not respond; they are a bunch of cons!
