I am so disgusted about the attitude and the manner in which VW Menlyn Technical manager handled the issue with the scratch on my car. I took my car in for service on the first week of July. It was spotless and I even mentioned that to the lady who accepted my car in the morning, we walked around the car and there was no scratch, later in the afternoon when I came to fetch my car it had a scratch which I reported and was told there was no way it could have been caused by them. I felt unfairly treated and I was told the matter will be passed on to the management, after almost 7 weeks since the day of the incidence the manager came to inspect my car and he told me that's an old scratch and there is no way it could have been caused by them. Ad their offer was that they would pay 50% of the damage and I must pay the rest, why must I pay 50% for the damage they caused in my car? Later he told me to report the matter to the ombudsman, what kind of an attitude is that? I felt the guy was showing me a middle finger telling me they don't care even if I go to another dealership by telling me I can take further steps. I just want them to pay for my car in full.
