Beware of dishonest Nelspruit BMW

I was drawn by the low kilos and the good trade in on my current car. I drove through from Pta to Nelpruit with my kids to fetch the vehicle on Thursday. Immediately on our approach to the car, I could see the whole car was full of hail dents! The vehicle was also not the "face lifted" model as was presented to me over the phone, meaning that the price was way over the book value. On closer investigation, I also noted very bad spray painting. I was shocked. To come all this way, for such a disappointment. Family in the car, the whole day and over a R1000 worth of petrol wasted! I asked George to pull the service history, he handed me one piece of paper, which indicated nothing out of the ordinary. I left there in my current vehicle, with George promising, that they will have the hail dents removed within the next week. Back at my office, still wondering about the whole ordeal, I phoned my local BMW dealer and asked them to check the vehicle's history. They informed me that the vehicle was struck by lightning in 2009, resulting in the total replacement of electronics, 176k damage. None of this was disclosed to me, not even after asking.
