My vehicle was booked for a 130 000km service on Thursday, 8 August 2013. Vehicle was kept for the whole day; booked in at 07h30, only got it back 16h30. A type of service that should have taken max 3 hours. I requested wiper blades to be changed (with good reason, as I am the client and driver of this vehicle). This was not done as requested. Furthermore, I requested that all lights on the vehicle to be inspected as there was a faulty (dead) parking light that needed replacement or needed to be fixed. It was not done although I paid for it. Only when getting home, I realised this. Contacted Mr Ferguson regarding my disappointment only on Monday, 12 August, as Friday was a public holiday and Saturday they were closed. After discussing the matter, no apology was offered only to say I have to bring in the vehicle again so that they could check it again. Point is; arrangements were made on my side to be without my vehicle (transport) for the whole day; already not acceptable for only a lube service. Secondly, who can afford to take ones vehicle back due to bad service and chances are good its going to be kept there for some time again. In principle, I won't take my vehicle there again!
