Honda SA
Sold defective goods and not willing to cancel dea

Cars & Transport

I bought an vehicle from Honda and within two weeks of ownership the gearbox became faulty and needed to be repaired, its almost three months that i have been waiting for the vehicle to be repaired the dealer is not willing to cancel my deal as per the CPA Act and i have been instructed by Collin Chips (Dealer Principal) do as i please, when i asked him how do i cancel my deal he just told me he does not know.

I quote as per CPA

may return the goods to the supplier, without penalty and at the supplier's risk and
expense, if the goods fail to satisfy the requirements and standards contemplated in
section 55, and the supplier must, at the direction of the consumer, either--
(a) repair or replace the failed, unsafe or defective goods; or
(b) refund to the consumer the price paid by the consumer, for the goods
