RTT is inefficient

I ordered a phone from MTN on 8 June 2013. ON 12 June RTT received the phone for delivery. I never received a single call/voice message from this courier about the delivery. On enquiry I found out that the handset was sent back to MTN after failure to deliver. Recipients are supposed to be notified in advance about the delivery of parcels to confirm the address and availability of the recipient. In my case, this was never done. As a result of this poor service I now have to wait for another 5-7 working days for the handset to be procured and delivered and in the meantime I am paying subscription for it. This is just unacceptable.
