I purchased a 2'nd hand Big Boy CRX 250 in April 2013 to use as transport in JHB when I have to visit my business once every 2 months since I live in CT. The bike had 1300 km on it and needed to put it through the roadworthy & registration. I noted a small oil leak, wanted the mirrors changed, the LED flickers would sometimes not engage & needed the battery changed. The seat needed a new bolt. I also wanted the grips changed, the kick starter tightened as it was rattling, the headlight and back lights needed cleaning and the globes checked & the carburetor set as the bike idled rough & the compression checked as it would not start with the kickstarter. I have driven the bike 4 times added about 200km to the clock. The bike is leaking oil, the chain is dry, the carburetor problem is the same, the kick starter was replaced with the wrong model, the water coolant is out every time the bike gets hot, the flickers are still faulty, the indicator switch box slips on the handle bar. 28 of June I received an invoice from Johnny for R5'342 which included 6 hours of labor @ R2'700! - My question, what did I pay for, & will they fix it or refund me to have it done by a pro?
