Faulty Battery on a new Bike!!!

On 27/10/2012 i bought a TVS125 cc motorcyle for my son's birthday. The motorcycle was collected on 27/10/2012. On 06/11/2012 Shanna was informed in writing that there is a problem with the electric starter, she indicated the bike should be brought in "when i have time". During the week ending 15/02/2013 my son complained that the bike was loosing power when riden with the lights on. On 16/02/2013 the bike was taken in to the dealer. I was told that they would look into the problem and get back to me. On 19/02/2013 i followed up on the progress to be told the bike must go to head office as it was under warranty and the driver only went through to jhb once a week and had yet to go through. On 25/02/2013 i received a call informing me that the battery was faulty and would need to be replaced and was not covered under warranty and only had a 30 day guarantee and the cost would be approx R350. NEW BIKE? BATTERY obviously faulty from day 1. The bike was never taken to head office for a warranty check??? Now i am expected to carry the cost?? When i bought the bike i was told that they do not have problems and have never had come backs?? These guys should not be in business
